People Page

The People page in Zeal provides you with a centralized view of all employees and contractors within the organization. This page allows you to quickly review worker details, retrieve onboarding links, manage onboarding settings, and import workers in bulk.

Viewing Employees and Contractors

• The People page displays all employees and contractors.

• You can search and filter for workers

Creating Workers

• You can create an employee or contractor by clicking on "Add employee" or "Add contractor" respectively

• You can also import workers in bulk using a CSV upload.

  • The system validates required fields before proceeding with the import.

  • If a worker is missing information, you are prompted to correct it before finalizing the import. 

Onboarding Links

• You can generate an onboarding link for an employee or contractor by clicking on "Onboarding link"

• You can copy the onboarding link to provide to the worker or you can send the onboarding link directly to their email on their profile

Setting Default Onboarding Steps

• You can define default onboarding steps for employees and contractors.

• Onboarding defaults ensure consistency in how new workers are onboarded across the organization.

Quickview – Accessing Worker Details

• Clicking the eye icon next to a worker’s name opens a Quickview panel.

• The Quickview provides high-level details about the worker, including:

  • Basic profile details (Name, Email, Date of Birth, Address, Employee ID)

  • Employment status

  • Pay information (Gross Pay, Net Pay, Salary, Pay Frequency)

• This allows admins to review important information without navigating away from the People page.
