Verify Your Bank Account with Micro-Deposits

Before Zeal can debit your company’s bank account to fund payroll, you’ll need to verify that you own the account.

What are micro-deposits?

Micro-deposits are two small deposits (typically less than $0.10 each) sent to your business bank account. They are used to confirm that the account information you entered is correct and that you have access to the account.

When are micro-deposits sent?

Micro-deposits are automatically initiated after you add your company’s bank account in Zeal, whether you’re using the White Label experience or the API. They typically appear in your bank account within 1–3 business days. (Zeal Docs)

How do I verify my account?

Once the deposits appear in your bank account:

1. Log back into Zeal.

2. Open your bank account verification screen.

3. Enter the two micro-deposit amounts exactly as they appear on your bank statement.

4. Submit the values to complete verification.

Once verified, your bank account can be used to fund payroll through ACH debits.

Note: Employee bank accounts do not require micro-deposit verification during onboarding. This process only applies to employer funding accounts.
